Privacy Policy

1. Legal framework

This policy is governed by Law no. 22/11 of 17 June on the Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Angola. The competent supervisory authority is the Agência de Protecção de Dados (APD).

2. What data we collect

The data controller is Venceslau Andrade. The contact form collects name, email address, organisation, subject, intended date, location and message. Browsing also generates technical server logs. With your permission, we collect aggregated metrics, including the page visited, referrer, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type.

3. Purposes and retention

Form data is used to assess and respond to invitations, press requests, editorial matters and partnership proposals, and is retained while the request is handled and for up to 24 months. Technical logs are retained for up to 30 days unless a legal or security need requires otherwise. The temporary identifier used by Vercel Web Analytics is discarded after 24 hours; the metrics shown to the controller are aggregated.

4. Hosting and third parties

Vercel provides hosting, delivery of some video files through Vercel Blob, and, only with your permission, Vercel Web Analytics. You can change your choice through “Privacy preferences” in the footer. Form data is processed by a database provider. When the user permits an external video, the YouTube player loads and Google may receive technical data under its own policies. These services may process data outside Angola subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data, use behavioural advertising or track visitors across sites.

5. Your rights

Under Law no. 22/11 you have rights of access, rectification, updating, objection and erasure, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Agência de Protecção de Dados.
